Hi all, just wondering how many cheap mods you can do the the XJ that actually make a difference. whether it be to the looks or performance. Ive recently bought the advanced ignition rotor for £14.99 and it has made a huge difference. I usually run my bike on 97 octane and the new rotor has completely changed how the bike performed above 6000rpm. How many other cheap things like this are there? I'm on a very tight budget at the moment so really can't justify spending more than say £50 on a single bit of kit.
Sidenote: are there any other styles of bars you can fit on a standard XJ600S? I'm looking for a replacement as mine are wonky and not as sporty as i would like. Bars are cheap but i'm not sure which ones would hit the fairings or tank. Would some clipons/risers work similar to whats on the later VFR's?
