Hello there, just bought myself an XJ600N 97' and thought i better get on here so i know what the hell i'm doing.
It seems to be in pretty good condition for 30,000 miles and only needs a couple of things doing for sure. Fuel pump leaks, ignition/lock needs replacing and could do with new tyres. I'm planning on turning it into a bit of a cafe racer but not all out as ive not got the budget and it gives me something to do as its currently off the road.I am currently not able to ride it as i don't have a licence, bought it with the intention of getting it all tidied up before i ride it.
Ive only worked on my very simple 125 and a few car engines so theres going to be a pretty big learning curve but i'm up to it!
Any kind of advice for this type of bike is appreciated and any recommendations for mods/things to check would be very helpful!
