Hey guys, just a quick one hopefully and I think I might know the answer anyway. Been working away on my XJ, she’s in a sorry state aesthetically but mechanically she’s running great.. almost. Noticed the other day that I’d been running on the prime setting of the petcock, whoops! Changed it back to on but noticed after a minute or two of riding she started spluttering and eventually cut out.
Would I be right in assuming it’s potentially a fuel pump/vacuum problem? As like I said, on prime she’d been running pretty perfectly.
