Hello everyone, it's almost two years since I registered in the forum. Always been reading but never participating, sorry for that. At the time I joined, bought a 2000 Yamaha XJ600N Diversion I've been working on. I live in Vigo (Spain) and this is my first "big" bike (not so big since it's limited to 35kW due to the restrictions of A2 license).
It had a lot of things to maintain/repair because of the big lack of care the previous owner had with it. He made neither an official revision nor a proper custom maintenance so I spend my spare time in it. I like mechanics very much and even more learning about it. I was lucky having found a lot of information in this forum (e.g. will apply all related to valve cover and valve shims adjustment very soon). Despite all problems I'm very happy with it, seems a very good bike for newcomers like me.
