I had an issue with my bike not charging, after searching and reading I wanted to add my notes and observations on what I found and how I fixed it. Ill be short.

-My bike had a slight current draw when off, around .9 mA.
-It idled rough and had a delay in acceleration from idle. As battery wore it ran worse.
-The regulator would get warm but not hot.
-Alternator/Stator looked fine.

There is a flow chart out there to troubleshoot these problems. It made no sense with this bike and nothing I checked matched the chart.

-I was unable to ohm anything nor get any voltage readings off the alternator using the plug that came off the rectifier.

When I unplugged rectifier, parasitic amp draw when away. This alone doesn't rule out the alternator so I unglugged the rectifier and put an ammeter between the plus terminal on the battery and the OUTPUT plus terminal on the rectifier leaving the rectifier attached to the bike (ground). It showed the amp draw I was trying to get rid of. Since the plug is disconnected from the rectifier, this rules out the alternator with this method.

A new rectifier fixed the bike up. I bought one off amazon prime, we'll see how long it lasts!
