Do you need copper gaskets with 4 into 1 Exhaust.

Hi Folks, I recently had to take my aftermarket 4 into 1 exhaust off my bike to change the oil, My bike is a 1995 XJ600 Diversion.

The exhaust is a Motad Nexxus, I have put the exhaust back on now but it seems to be blowing a little at the cylinder head.

My question is, do you need copper gaskets with these type of exhausts.
