I have this theory going on, where my starter motor died due to overheating for too long, too often.
I swapped for a new one and it's going strong for now.
Before I go out and write a PSA, I'd like to know if this starter motor looks burned to you. It seems like it is to me.
I'd like to add that I could only clean some of that black stuff with some isopropyl alcohol.
It's much cleaner but there's this entire area that seems to be the copper worn out.
