Hello everyone!
A couple of times my starter motor failed, so I'd like to pull it out to check the brushes.
My question is: considering that I have already renewed starter engines before, is removing and mounting back the unit a painless thing to do?
I ask this because once, as I removed a starter motor from a kawasaki, I discovered that a cog inevitably falls into the carter so in order to mount everything back I had to open it up and it took me some time...
Thanks, if you tell me there's no caveat I'll try to take some photos and upload'em here!
