Well after looking around and seeing how nice this bike can look with fairings I'm starting to feel a little jealous since mine came without any.
I've looked into doing fiberglass layups and it seems like a pretty straight forward process that doesn't need too many special tools, not to mention the materials are pretty cheap.
Anyone ever tried this for making fairings? I think the hardest part would be making a buck or a mold. It would be pretty easy to make a mold from existing fairings if I could find someone willing to let me 'borrow' them :lolno:
I did see some on ebay for sale, but there aren't many and people are asking a lot for them.
Anyway I think this seems like a fun project. If I give it a go I'll post the results here of course!
