xj600 enrichment plunger leak

Hey guys. Would anyone know why 2 of my xj600 enrichment plungers are leaking? The boots are fine and the plungers are sung against the carb body. The fuel looks like is coming out in between the body and plunger nut. Not from the boots. Maybe they're not seating properly? Do they wear out? Is there anyway to get in there and clean the seat? Btw, they have just been thoroughly cleaned and rebuilt following Radare's post. Every single seal has been replaced in each carb. Dipped in chem dip. Blew air through every passage. All adjustments made. Maybe I missed something? Would a float that's set too high cause this?
