Hi all,

As previously mentioned in my introduction, please excuse the lack of avatar! (will upload soon)

So I've just bought a '98 XJ600S (Diversion), I have a few things in mind to 'make it my own', i.e. some new grips, maybe some new mirrors, but I'm thinking of modernizing the bike overall, my end can looks a bit worse for wear and has been wrapped to cover the corrosion (I think!). So with that being said, I'm looking at a black widow end can to replace what I believe is the original one. Below are a few ideas I have and would like an opinion or some advice on the best way to complete them:

1. Tail Tidy (the extended rear mudguard is a bit dated but can't find a tail tidy to fit?)
2. Fender Extender (fairly easy job I'd assume)
3. New Exhaust system (my down pipes etc are in great condition, but I don't think they'll take the Black Widow end can)
4. New Grips (any suggestions?)
5. A General Service (Oil and Air Filter, opinions on Oils?)
6. Handlebars (I'd like a lower set, but would the fairing get in the way?)
7. Bar end mirros, or lowered mirrors?
8. Footpegs
9. Levers (though I'm not fussed about this, mine are perfectly good at the minute)

I don't have a great picture of the bike at the minute as I only had it delivered last night, but here's something from the previous owner:
