I've lurked on here a few times to get some handy tips, but finally registered since I got my hands on a 1992 XJ600S a few days ago.
The name is James, I come from sunny Suffolk in the UK, have had a handful of years on a wee 50cc Piaggio Zip then a few more on a Hyosung 125cc which I cherished right up until it got Nicked! Wonderful ride though and despite not being a particularly common brand on the streets so far as I've seen, it did me proud.
I Got bitten by the bug again a few months ago when one of my work colleagues mentioned wanting to get his A license, since that I've re-done my CBT, completed the Mod 1 last week and down for the Mod 2 on Friday to get that tasty full A license. Pretty confident it'll be a pass on that and then I'm in business.
I picked up the before-mentioned XJ from a reasonably local chap for a decent price and despite the lack of an MOT, she's a little beaut but does need some TLC which is why I'm here. Well everyone, that's me! Haven't got any photos of the XJ uploaded yet to post her delightful red curves but I will do soon enough.
