Just got working on a 96 XJ600. Took the carbs apart and sure enough one got knocked off the bench because my grinder wheel makes the bench vibrate. Snapped the post off and I cant seem to find the piece to try and do a repair.
So I was looking for a place to post a parts wanted thread but seeing Im a newbie here I probably missed it somewhere. So the questions are..
Is there a source for old carb bodies or am I stuck with however long before one pops up on Ebay?? saw a few there but no #4s and I dont want to buy a full rack for just one emptied out body that I need.
Is there a parts wanted section here?? And if not, does anyone have a good #4 body for the 96 year laying around I could buy???
And lastly...what all year bikes used the same carbs as the 96??? Knowing would make Ebay searching much easier if I knew what I am looking for. Thanks.
