Long story short, replaced tci / cdi as one of the transistors for the ignition coil had let out its magic smoke.
bike has been stood for a few months.
no cranking, just oil light, all switches good.
i shook the relay that controls the safety switches and discovered its full of water and corroded, I can't even solder a jumper wire in it because its so bad. anyway I jumped 2 wires in the connector and now the bike cranks but still no spark, I'm pretty sure there are other wires i can jump to get ignition (spark) working, but am having a hard time decyphering the wiring diagram to find them.
anyone intimate with the wiring?
