Switched to Manual Petcock = Problems

I have had trouble with the factory petcock, leaking flooding my engine, and even after rebuild kit still leaked. My petcock looks different than what I have seen others post. Mine does not have the vacuum plug , it is blank metal. Anyways I got the acerbis manual petcock and it does fit, but now my bike will not take fuel. It seems the vacuum is too weak. I put a proper cap on cylinder 1, and I have a good line on cylinder 2, but the pump wont stay primed. I also have new carb boots so I cant imagine there being a vacuum leak there, I just cant figure it out, and obviously my bike wont start. Yes, I have checked all plugs, all show fire. What is even more baffling is that I did get fuel out of carb 1 & 4 when I opened the carb bowl screws. I am really confused, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
