I'm working on a Cafe Racer-project based on the XJ 600. With a raised rear end, and clip-on handlebars, my weight is shifted forward. In addition, I weigh 235 lbs. The front is mushy as hell (the bike has done 80k km), and I want to upgrade the forks.

But how will these handle my weight? Should I go for stiffer springs? Are there stiffer springs?
I have an adjustable rear shock from a Honda CBR. I want a bike that is comfortable to ride, but not to soft.
