Hey guys I just wanted to thank everyone who shares their knowledge on the wall. This is a great community that I am proud to be a part of. Just a few weeks ago I saw that someone had gone down on their bike. I didn't take long before people were offering up their spare parts to help another member out. I was impressed. I recently did a full rebuild of my carbs. I didn't feel that comfortable doing it without the help of someone more experienced. But the carb rebuild walkthrough was so clear that I decided to go for it. This site helped me find the right parts and I ordered them. Then I used the step by step guide to tear them down, clean them, and put them back together. Then I had a seized rear caliper. Both pistons were seized up. What do you know, theres a walkthrough for that too. The bike starts right up, warms up quickly, and runs great! I have ridden every single day for the last week. I am tickled pink every time it starts right up.
Next I plan on securing my plastics properly (using the walkthrough of course). I plan on restoring my paint too. I could not have gotten this far without you guys. I feel confident doing anything to this bike. The way the site is set up, the way folks respond quickly to questions... You guys are awesome. Thank you.
