Has anyone tried 3D printing custom parts for their bikes? I have access to a 3D printer, and I am leaning towards pursuing the naked conversion with my new project.
I think I will borrow from Radare's ABS side infill design and also his aluminum headlight brackets. I can print in several plastics, including nylon, ABS and a carbon fiber infused PLA, so I don't think strength would be an issue as these have a lot of rigidity.
Also, if I move forward with an electric conversion, I will want any brackets I make to be as light as possible, as overall weight is a factor.
