Just a quick hello from Milton Keynes. I recently bought a black 97 XJ600N, was in pretty bad shape (it was £160), i've nearly brought her back to her former glory and couldn't have done it without the forum, am nearly there now but do have one major issue now which is the fuel pump wont prime on ignition and only does so when trying to start, you can also hear a prime/tick noise when running from the fuel pump every 5 seconds as if the prime is not shutting off. I fitted a new aftermarket fuel pump but still have same problem. Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks.
