Hi all, just picked up an '84 FJ600 that's in good shape. It has sat for the past 10 years but is pretty clean and hasn't been molested. My problem is that after installing a new battery I have no power. It's as if the battery isn't even connected.
I've confirmed the battery is charged, checked the reg/rec and it is good, confirmed continuity in the ignition switch, and ensured the 4 fuses are good and have continuity. I get 12v between the main fuse but nothing after that. For how unmessed with this bike is I'm surprised everything didn't fire up. Any advice on the next downstream electrical component I should check? Does the relay assembly ever go bad? It looks like the previous owner cut the kickstand relay but I don't think that'd cause this... Any advice?
