I've got to replace some turn signals on the ol' XJ and do some rewiring on my old Honda CB as well. I'm looking at buying some bulk connectors and am thinking of going with bullet connectors, such as these:
However, I've also read that VintageConnections.com is a great source for OEM quality wiring kits: http://www.vintageconnections.com/
So 2 questions - does anyone have a recommendation for bulk connectors that I should buy? My hangup with the Amazon ones is that they might not hold up to the rigors of a motorcycle - vibration, heat, weather, etc.
Other question - do you know of a downside to just using bullet connectors for everything on a bike? I know typically there's a variety of connections - those male/female spades, bullets, junction blocks. If I run into needing to replace a connection in the future do you see a problem with replacing a spade connector with a bullet connector, or vice versa?
