I am new to the Xj scene, having picked on last week. The bike has had some modifications , like front fairing removed, gaiges replaced, tail section painted, and petcock replaced. I really like the bike, other than a couple issues, like the new gauges, and the newer petcock being very stiff and not setup 100% right.
I plan on repainting the tail blue along with teh front piece that was put on. Yesterday I went on a 60 mile ride around NYC over a couple hours and it was a great way to search for problems, I dealt with everything from stopped traffic in hot weather to fast highway speeds and sudden breaking. the bike seems to be in good shape other than the shaking. Its it usual to feel the vibrations in the feet this much from the bike?
