Painting question

Whats up everybody? I have a question that maybe you guys can answer. Ive currently painted my rims, again, and have thought about the following. Should I wetsand and buff my clearcoat, or just leave it plainly clearcoated? Is clearcoated even a word? Ha. Any input would be appreciated.
