Well
As I posted in my other thread I went from one problem to the next!
After a lengthy starter clutch fix I fired bike up ran great then died.

No spark.
I cracked the pickup coil housing during clutch fix, but it was still intact.
So first thing I did was remove cover and sure enough it was off and bracken and one wire come loose.

So I figured well that would do it, so purchased a pickup from salvage and hooked it up.

And no spark.
Here is hat I have done.

Checked timing, TDC mark is on with no. 1 piston at top.
Cam Chain looks tight and in spec.
Cams are aligned with marks at TDC
I am getting .410 ohm tested at pickup. And gap is to spec.
Oil is full in between lines
Key on power to coils
In neutral, light works.
Ground looks good
Battery is new and charged
I have bypassed kick stand , clutch and neutral safety switches.

I just don't understand .
When the pickup came loose the wire must have touched and maybe shorted out cdi or relay?

Man this is frustrating ! Bike isn't worth all this time!

Should I source a cdi? Next.

I want o ride!
