LED idiot lights

I have a 92. I changed my turn signals to leds, got the new flasher and it works great. I went to change my oil and neutral light to leds, but the neutral light was on only when in gear. Now they don't work at all. The LEDs I'm using as the idiot lights have fuses in line with them. So all I did was cut out the old light and tie in the new ones. Any idea why they don't work?
