The story:
Was pressed for time due to holiday weekend. Changed oil, header crush washers, new chain and sprockets in record time so that that I'd be able to drive it to the lake, with the wifey and family in the mini van following. Like a fool, I forgot I needed to fill up and ran out of gas. A very nice lady lent me a gas can and the wifey drove us to the gas station only 2 miles down the road. I came back and remembered the lever was broke off the petcock and I didn't have anything with me that I could use to switch the petcock to prime. Needless to say, the battery died before I could come close to getting it to fire up. The nice lady let me put my bike in her pole barn and we exchanged phone numbers. I removed the battery so I could charge it and we went on our way.
What is the best way to get it up and running when I go back tomorrow?
Aside from the actual part, is there something I can bring with me to get the petcock to switch to prime?
What's the easiest way to get the bowls filled?
Would it be easiest to remove the tank, air filter and squirt some starting fluid in there to get stuff moving?
