So I've had my 93 Seca II for two years, 5000 miles. Last spring the tach would occasionally read about twice what the engine was turning. Beyond what my local dealer says (it's busted), is there anything you guys know that I should be checking for to figure out what's happening here? I am willing to swap to another tach, but if it's just a bad wire, I'd rather fix it.
