So I bought my XJ last Febuary. So far I absolutely love the bike. Been on a couple weekend trips all the good stuff. Best part is that it was a 98 with only 9600 miles on it when I got it. Everything on it ran perfect and still does (to my knowledge). I see where guys on here are syncing their cards and rejetting them also. I was thinking about rejetting them because i read that it can really help with throttle response. Then I was wondering if I have everything off to go ahead and replace the jets should I go ahead and sync them to make sure they are all good. I am very new to motorcycle mechanics. I have played with a bunch of dirtbikes and fourwheelers but they usually were not running and I fixed them. I have reservations about working on something that is running fine. Can I get some advice or suggestions about whether or not you guys feel syncing is something that needs to be done? Thanks guys.
