DMV Title Issue

Hello Everyone, I recently got my Seca II from a friend for free who also received it from a friend. From his knowledge, the bike isn't stolen, it's just missing the title. I called the DMV and they said it was a $300-$500 process to get a new title. I was curious if anyone may know of a loophole or even a quicker way to acquire a title for registering this bike in Arizona? I want to solve this situation before I decide to put money into it and get it back on the road.
