:!: Hello everyone, I'm a new member and unfortunately don't know much about carburetors. Although I was a mechanic in the military for 4 years, I am not proud to say I don't know much about this motorcycle. There is a lot to do and I'm trying to pace myself with a little at a time. I would love to hear from everyone about their advice. I picked this bike up from a friend for free since it was just sitting in his garage. There is a lot that needs to be done; however, I figured it would be best to start with the engine and get the bike started and then work from the front of the bike to the back; starting with the front fork seals.

I am currently piecing information together about the carburetor and what I should do. Here are pictures of the bike and the carburetor.

I believe this diagram is what I would use to get everything back together.. does this look correct to you guys? As you can see, I received the carburetor in pieces which still need to be cleaned.
