So I want to start off by saying that I don't know much about motorcycles. I know my way around them but when it comes to troubleshooting I'm awful  ... So at the end of fall last year my bike started having trouble starting or it would struggle idling. I figured it was the carburetor so during the winter I rebuilt the carb by following the steps that were shown on this forum (thank you radare  ) But tonight I went to the garage to attach the carbs and connect all my connections and instead of using the gas tank I used my replacement gas holder (just a bottle with a clear tube that I can connect to the gas line). And since it's been sitting in the garage and I don't know when the previous owner replaced the spark plugs, I went ahead and replaced them while I was doing minor maintenance. Well when I went to start the motor it turned over very easily but the bike wouldn't catch. So after a few minutes of standing like an idiot I tried again and noticed that the gas wasn't really "flowing" into the engine. It would bob up and down and then after some time it would reach the engine and slowly go in. I got it to almost start a couple times but once I let go of the starter button the motorcycle just shut off. I even checked the compression to make sure it was still good. I've been at it since 10 this morning going back and forth trying to figure out what was wrong with it. In the end... No luck... So with the information that I gave in this post, I was hoping someone could help me resolve this issue. So I'll say again what I did and what I noticed:

- I rebuilt the carbs
- I noticed that the gas wouldn't flow steadily into the engine but rather bob up and down and eventually reach the engine
- If the motorcycle did start to catch and I let go of the starter, the motorcycle would just shut off
- I replaced all my spark plugs
- I checked my compression and it was still good

Thanks for using some of your time to read my post and I really hope someone out there could help. Have a good day and God bless.
