Hi XJR, my bike is acting up, I need your help!
I took my XJ for a spin today and something weird happened. After about 70km all of a sudden the bike lost ability to accelerate. It started running a bit rough. Tried setting the petcock to RES but this time it didn't help - I started the ride with full tank, so there was still plenty of gas. I pulled over, opened the fuel cap thinking that maybe venting failed, but it didn't help either. Bike revs perfectly fine in neutral and while riding with clutch lever pulled in. No problems with starting the engine and it doesn't die while idling.
I didn't force it to go above 4000 PRM and rode the remaining 30km at low speed (60-70km/h).
Before leaving the bike in garage for the winter and on my first ride of this year two weeks ago, bike was running great. When I got home today I checked if there is spark on all plugs and yes, there is.
Any ideas what I should check next? If that's a vacuum leak, wouldn't it also affect revving in neutral?
