
Dust seals.

My Thought, is that they are there for a reason. You might be able to get away with out having them but your oil seals will where out even faster with out them. I would find replacements. It may cost a little more right now but it will end up costing even more down the road when you have to replace the oil seals. And you probably don't want to lose riding time because you have to rip apart the forks again.
