Well after introducing myself on the other forum I wanted to start trying to solve the binding brakes that have me stumped. (And stopped ) At the moment I can come to a stop by just pulling the clutch in and don't even need to pull the brake lever
I took the calipers off and popped the pistons out on the weekend. Cleaned out all the crap from the caliper and cleaned up the pistons. Then greased ( the back of the pad and guides with coopereze) and reassembled. I was hoping that was enough but after a ride the right hand disc is very hot whereas the left caliper is cold. So the good news is that it is only one side that needs sorting out but would welcome your collective input. The seals looked in decent condition so I didn't bother taking them out but am now wondering if that is causing the problems.
If not, what else could it be?
