Guys, I've searched the internet over and over and I just don't trust anyone I don't know anymore. Time to get some tires that are not weather checked/plugged/cut on the sidewalls and or hold air. (don't worry, this isn't on the one I'm currently riding, its for the project bike).
Those of you with thousands of miles of experince on different tires...chime in, let us know what ones are lasting, what ones you feel confident on, what ones you would suggest to your son or daughter. The bike mags only cover the big 3 it seems, and I am very curious (as is the whole world) on the longevity of the budget tires (Kenda 671 and dag gum it, someone has to have over a 1000 miles on Shinko 741 or the 740 model, someone, anyone?) I'm acutally at the point of ordering them just to do a journal on them, a real test as opposed to an amazon or motorcycle super store review after 113 miles by a 19 year old on his hyosung 70...)
So guys, shout out what you have, how long you've had them and the pro's and con's of each.
Thanks
(and yes, I have combed the site but I thought a through collection in one spot could help us all out) that made me just want to watch space balls..."we are combing the desert sir!"
