Speedometer/Front wheel bearings

Well, I finally got around to checking out my speedometer today. Figured a new thread would be in order since the other one was mostly about engine issues. If I unhook the cable from the hub and spin it by hand the speedometer starts working. I unhooked the speedometer cable from the cluster and it didn't spin while riding. Then I turned the cable around and tried again, nothing. Long story short I jacked up the front end and spun the wheel while shining a light into the speedometer drive assembly and don't see anything in there moving. The front bearings also sound like gravel and the front wheel has some play in it. Time for some new bearings/seals and a drive unit. Long post for a short question: Any tips on bearing/speedometer drive unit replacement and where in the world can the parts be found?
