Hi guys. I just aquired my 94 seca ii. It just so happens that no money changed hands. I was out with a friend and we stopped at a guys house to shoot the shit. We were in the garage andInoticed this dusty bike in the corner.I Inquired and the guy, whos an old motorcylce mechanic, studs some kid dropped this off at his house about 15 years ago and asked him to get it running right.
Well he rebuilt the carbs,tuned it up,and got it running good but he couldn't get a hold of the kid. He kept trying and trying until the phone was shut off. He's been storing this and had Gordon sick of moving it around the shop. I let him know i was interested in it and he did he would let me know.
About a week ago a truck and trailer show up At my house with this bike. He says " it's yours, what do have? " I didn't have the money to buy it but he said he wanted to trade. He dry my old lawn tractor, that i haven't used sincei bought the house 3 years ago, and he said he needed it to cut his horse pasture. So the trade was made and i am the new owner of a 1994 seca ii with 3900 mi on it! I just have to get an abandoned title for it and I'm golden.
Again, i just wanted to say hi and that i am going to be using this forum to rebuild it into what i want. Thank you all for all the info available.
