Hey there,

Today I went to switch my handlebars over to some new ones and in the process discovered that the mounting clamps for my master cylinder were basically glued together. They had the two screws in them as normal, but the top one was glued in place. I didn't realise this until I'd gotten it out. Now I'm having trouble getting it back in/re-mounting the cylinder. It doesn't look stripped out, I can see the little swirly screw tracks etc, but the hole just won't accept the screw.. So. My question is.

If, after further investigation tomorrow morning, I find that the screws won't go back in and something is stripped out or broken in some way, what are my options? Do I just have to replace the whole thing? That seems excessive, as everything but the screw holes is fine, but it's not like I can replace the screw ..tracks or whatever they are called.

Gah, I gotta get a second vehicle so stuff like this doesn't bring on the stress.
