Front brake master cylinder sizes?

So in my quest to get a non-leaking front master cylinder on the bike and hopefully one with an adjustable lever I ordered a 2007 ninja ex650 mc. The 12-14' ex650 has a 14mm bore the older ones have a 5/8" bore or about 15.8mm. Does anyone know how much this going to effect my braking? At either the lever or the calipers or both? I'm going to be going to the dual caliper setup with a FZR front end and the blue dot calipers.
