After a while of that, the little guy and I stopped for breakfast.

Chorizo breakfast burrito smothered in Red and Cheddar.

Stopped along the way to take a picture of the Very Large Array, a huge network of antennae that collect radio signals and process them for signs of life.

Awesome little windmill graveyard while construction was slowing me down.

Turned off for some water and to check out the scenery.

Arizona state line...

ADOT slowing me down as well...

and slowing down others.

Stopped in Payson for some grub and came across an awesome cafe with wonderful staff.

Had myself some home made meatloaf and vegetable soup.

I was texting the girls progress reports and they want to see more than just the bike and the food, so obligatory selfie... sorry.

For some reason, Arizona likes to moisturize their tarmac. Fresh oil is one of the worst signs I have ever seen on a curvy road.

Here is California...

And we turn in for the night in Perris, California.

Morning comes and we are off...

or not, time to replace the chain as it was due and the peace of mind was worth it. If only they would have let me do the labor...

AHHH!!! Oh...

Breakfast spot...

with other riders...

and good food, corned beef hash country breakfast meal.

And, my view for breakfast.

Found my park, somebody put their name in front of mine though...

Come on... let's go...

Stay tuned for part 2, Casper's sights there and then part 3, Casper's trip home...
Boy there are a lot of pictures.
