Fast Blinker?

I noticed the other day that my right turn signal started flashing about twice the normal speed, so I stopped at Advance Auto Parts to change the assumed bad bulb. However, when I turned them on to see which one was out, they were both flashing. The left side works normally, and both right bulbs flash, but at twice normal speed just like a bulb was out. I'll be honest; I'm a little stumped on this one. Any ideas?
