Guys, my 1992 Seca II sustained serious frame damage during a high speed pothole impact last winter. Bike did not go down but sustained Multiple cracked welds in the main chassis and subframe. We had a very harsh winter last year in the northeast and the roads were in terrible condition, and in some cases still are.
My Seca was/is in otherwise very
good cosmetic and mechanical condition. I am reluctant to get rid of it but it is not safe to ride. Does anyone have an opinion about the feasibility of finding an inexpensive
struturally sound frame and subframe, and transferring all the components?
Also, would like to gauge interest if I were to sell as a parts bike. Bike is complete, black, and has extras like center stand, tank bra, and corbin seat. Also have brand new powerbronze windscreen that I have not installed yet, still in the packaging. I cant part it out because I have a small garage and live in an urban area without much space, cant afford to have a bike carcass lingering for a long time while picking off a part at a time.
thanks for your input
