Hey guys, thought I would see if you all had any suggestions on an issue I am having. To start out here is what is happening. While I am riding the engine seems to just shut off. I have had this happen to me three times over the weekend. The first time it died I was about to turn a corner at a stop light so I thought I may have killed it. After I made the turn I drove for a little while, then the engine died on me again. I tried starting it but the battery seemed weak, so I got a jump and everything seemed great. I was able to ride it again for a while and no problems.

The next day, I was driving along a beltway in my city, going 45 MPH when all of a sudden my speed dropped to 35 MPH. I down shifted to make for sure I didn't do something stupid and everything seemed fine. Then with 10 yards of that happening, the engine died again. Lucky I had someone following me so we pulled over to the side of the road and tried to start the bike. It didn't want to start, as if it was out of fuel. I pushed it to the nearest fueling station, and filled it up. When I turned on the motorcycle, none of the lights came on, so I rolled it away from the fueling stations and tried to jump it. I couldn't get it to start. Thinking it was the battery, I bought a new one and installed it. After doing so, I experienced the same issue. I was working on it for about 10 min after the new battery was installed, and was just about to give up when I was able to get it started. I had to hold down the start button and rev the throttle until it started. Each time, it seemed as if there wasn't any fuel getting to the engine.

After it started I rode it home, and turned it off after parking it. I waited about a minute or two, then tried starting it again. It started right away. Thinking that there maybe a dirty fuel system, I purchased Start Now, and added it to the fuel to clean out the fuel system.

Any ideas on what it could be?
