I'm just wondering how I know if a 'universal gauge' will work with the XJ. I realise how stupid that question sounds, but I don't even know enough about gauges to know if 'universal' means Truly Universal or not. My uncertainty about this was sort of validated earlier when I was looking at a Koso gauge and it was a universal one, but when I checked compatibility with their tool it said 'not compatible'.
I'm likely going to go with an Acewell or something, so at least I can do a search and see if someone's got one already, but if I wanted a danmoto rip off job or similar I would have no way of knowing if things could go together. So that is question one.
Question two is.. Has anyone ever installed one of these Acewell 2853 gauges and was it difficult?
