I have a 86 XJ 700 that my starter clutch was going south in. To make a long story short being I had to split the case I got the 3mm over pistons for a 750 and got a 750 crank and made a 820 cc motor. I also ported the cylinder head. All else was the same. Bike baselined at 52 HP and 33 lb ft of torque. After it made 78 HP and 49 lb ft of torque. Bike wouldn't hardly do much of a wheelie before. Now you have to work real hard to keep the front down in 1st gear. Its a blast to drive now. If someone can tell me how to upload pictures I can get a dyno graph up here
