Maybe, but I'm capable of doing my own work, and some of the things I'll have to buy I would have had to buy on a $2500 bike too, so I have no idea, time will tell. For now, I'm just happy to have a bike and something to occupy my time. I've had good luck with forums for my other vehicles, hopefully I'll be able to learn a lot from people here as well!
Well, I don't know what you paid for it, but if you could ride it for a test drive, it probably wasn't a terrible financial decision; especially if you can do your own work. These are amazing bikes! They're not the #1 performer, but they were never meant to be. They're rock solid reliable, handle great, easy to work on, and all-around just plain fun!

Oh, and the forum here? OUTSTANDING! This really is some of the best people I've ever met online, and I've got pretty high standards. There's tons of information here from a bunch of geniuses who are as good with people as they are with their bikes; a rare combination.

Though we may have to throw the proverbial book at you if you continue to break the unwritten Rule #1 of XJRider.com etiquette:

"It is improper to introduce oneself as an official XJRider while depriving fellow XJRiders the pleasure of a photographic image of one's XJ."

Other than that, welcome to XJRider! ;)
"I want to drive. I want to feel all of it: freedom, wind, curves, feedback, acceleration, unsteadiness, fear, joy... I don't want to ride. I want to drive."
