My previous issues were related to water in the fuel tank, and the bike started right up after draining all of that out and refilling with fresh fuel. After I installed new spark plugs, rebuilt the carbs with new o-rings, float valve, and #20 pilot jet, fuel line, fuel pump, etc. that is. Wish I had drained the fuel first as that would saved me a lot of time, money, and aggravation. I also replaced the K&N air filter with the factory one.

However now I'm having idle issues when warm, the bike starts and warms up okay. Seems to run fine on the highway. But when I let it idle, it hovers around 1000 rpm, kinda low I thought, and then the idle speed slowly drops and then it dies. I've tried adjusting the idle speed up. I had also read on here that it could be caused by too rich idle mixture, so I adjusted the idle mixture screws back to the factory setting of 2 turns out from the previous setting 2.5 turns out. No difference. I wouldn't have though just going to the #20 pilot jet would cause this.

It's very frustrating as you can imagine. I've never had these kinda problems with my bikes before that I haven't been able to solve.
Thanks, Tony
