Engine mount play

I am putting the engine back into my bike after a long time out, as i bolted the mounts back to the engine i noticed the drivers side mount bushing slides back and forth, i was curious if this was supposed to happen to allow for something or if this is an issue that needs to be looked into further, any help is appreciated.
