Okay. I am at my wits end and I thought I would just post.

My 1992 Seca 2 is acting up. The problem is that, basically, The bike will occasionally get spark and then 30 seconds later not. I have tested all plugs and both coils for faulty connections, I have tested the battery for a dead cell. I pulled apart side stand killswitch and cleaned it all out. I still can't figure it out. When I do get the bike to run, the RPMs will cut off and dip to 0 lightning fast then spike back up to where they are supposed to be in relation to the throttle position. I can't seem to find a rhyme or reason. All connections seem okay. I am getting sufficient power to coils. I was not able to test ohm'age because my multimeter was elsewhere.

I have a weird feeling that the kickstand kill switch is the cause.. but I wouldnt know how that would be possible because the psarking issue also happens while the bike is in neutral.

Anybody have a problem like this before? Should I just Bypass the side stand killswitch altogether to eliminate the possibility?

ALSO the problem seems to worsen as the bike is warmer. I am fairly certain this is an electrical issue.

PLEASE and THANKS, Erik. :wallbash:
