Hey guys so the other day I got bored and decided to remove my muffler for a proper clean. Later in the day a friend of mine happened to stop by and it just turns out that he works for a body shop and is going to sandblast them for me (saving me hours of sanding). My question to you is what is the proper way to paint these?

With the muffler I was thinking of just using the BBQ spray paint from Home Depot? I should have some pictures up of the muffler sandblasted in a couple of days hopefully.

On a side note I think it a was a good idea to remove the muffler because upon inspection of the surrounding area I found a missing "engine bolt"? Do any of you guys know the dimensions for this guy off the top of your head? I was going to check the FSM later today. If I find it in there I will let you know.

One more question, can I ride the bike with the muffler off or should I just wait until I have it put back on?
